WHYSA - Coed Recreational

PROGRAMS & DESCRIPTIONS:

2020 Fall WHYSA Boys(Co-Ed) Recreational Soccer: Registration is closed for Fall 2020

Boys /Co-ed Recreational Soccer:

This program is for West Hartford youth players born between 2006 and 2015. Our programs are designed for boys but girls are allowed and WELCOME to play in this league. This league's recreational division is a developmental program, with emphasis on teamwork, fun and learning through playing soccer. Our coaches are all volunteers. WHYSA volunteer coaches will be provided with training materials, including educational training videos. The curriculum is based on US Soccer guidelines and Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) regulations.
NOTE: Players must either live in West Hartford or attend school in West Hartford to be eligible for participation.

Please read the description of the program(s) for which you are registering for below.

Parent volunteer coaches are paramount to the success of the league especially this season in light of the pandemic. In the event there are not enough coaches we may need to adjust the format or our programming to a clinic style or practice only format. We ask that EVERYONE registering their child to be flexible as we all navigate through this Fall 2020 season together. Our goal is to be able to provide a structured program for the children to get some formal soccer training and exercise.

The leagues intent is to provide similar programming as in previous seasons with a reduced practice schedule and shortened season. At this time our programs are scheduled to start the week of September 14th and will end the on October 25th.
